Foundation renovates classrooms, donates books in JSS Gosa

ISREAL Ibeleme Foundation has renovated a block of three classrooms at Junior Secondary School (JSS), Gosa, Airport Road, Abuja, to ensure environment conducive for learning and teaching in the school.
At the inuaguration of the classrooms and donation of some exercise books on Wednesday in Abuja, Mr Isreal Ibeleme, the Chief Executive of the Foundation, said the idea was borne out his desire to support the government.
Ibeleme said that the project would be of great benefit to Gosa community and the society at large towards rendering humanitarian services.
According to him, the Foundation is into community development project and human capacity building.
“Today, as part of our project in education, we are here to invest in the life of our children, and to support the school and the government.
“Also, to support the fact that President Muhammadu Buhari has given a directive to the Minister of Education to see to the total overhauling of the education system.
“As Nigerians, we are here to support government activities and projects in providing enabling environment for our children to study and we encourage others to do same,” he said.
Ibeleme also encouraged other good spirited Nigerians to support children education, saying that education is key to national development.
He, therefore, called for financial assistance for the Foundation to continue to impact more lives nationwide.
Earlier, Mr Micheal Achi, the Principal JSS, Gosa, appreciated Ibeleme Foundation for the kind gesture, saying that he has been of good assistance to the school through his numerous donations.
According to Achi, some students of the school are on scholarship courtesy Ibeleme Foundation.
He also encouraged other Nigerians to emulate the good initiative and support the less privileged in the society.
Similarly, Mr Suleman Abubakar, Permanent Board Member, FCT Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB), said that the foundation was an inspiration and challenge to Nigerian youths and Nigerians in general.
He said that people should form the habit of channeling their resources to the benefit of the society, adding that Nigerians should be motivated to the service of humanity.
Miss Precious Albert and Sunday Nduur both in JSS 3 on behalf of the students appreciated Ibeleme foundation, saying that they have been enjoying his kind gesture through several donations.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Isreal Ibeleme Foundation in addition to the classrooms renovation, donated some exercise books to the school.
