FRSC confirms three injured in Niger auto crash

THE Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Niger on Monday confirmed that three persons sustained various injuries in an auto crash in the state on Sunday.

Mr Kumar Tsukwam, the Niger Sector commander, confirmed this while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Minna.

Tsukwam explained that the crash  occured at about 8:15 a.m. on Sunday around Gidan Mangoro along the Minna – Bida road in Bosso Local Government Area of the state.

He disclosed that the crash involved three vehicles, one with registration number ZAR 75 TL; a Peugeot with registration number MKD 619 YX and a commercial bus with registration number SKT 11 TR.

According to him, five people were involved in the mishap, with three sustaining injuries and two others unhurt.

“The injured person were taken to General Hospital, Minna for treatment,” he said.

The sector commander blamed the crash on speeding and loss of control.

He advised motorists to exercise caution and adhere strictly to speed limits to avoid crashes.(NAN)
