FRSC inaugurates 266 Special Marshals in Ogun

THE Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun Command, said it had inaugurated 266 Special Marshals across the state to ensure safety of lives and property on the roads.
Mr Anthony Uga, the Ogun Sector Commander of FRSC, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Ota, Ogun.
Uga said that the Special Marshals had been trained on safety of lives on the roads.
“The Special Marshals would add value and bite to FRSC operations in the state.
“In addition, whatsoever they would be doing would translate to FRSC activities, which is to save lives and safety on the roads,” he said.
The sector commander said that they had also opened a special marshal unit at Ogun State Board of Revenue Service.
He noted that no state across the federation had opened a special marshal unit at the state board of revenue service.(NAN)
