Fubara mourns Akeredolu, condoles with Ondo Govt.

GOV. Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers has expressed shock over the death of Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State.
In a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Thursday by Mr Boniface Onyedi, his Senior Assistant on Media, Fubara described the legal luminary as “one leader dedicated to the service and wellbeing of his people and humanity”.
He said the sad news was quite disturbing, adding that the death was not only a loss to the state but the entire country.
The statement read: “Chief Rotimi Akeredolu was a fine gentleman, with high respect for the rule of law as a seasoned lawyer.
“In this state of mourning and grief, our prayers are with the family, the government and people of Ondo State.”
The governor prayed for the repose of his soul and also prayed God to comfort his family, the Government and people of the state over the painful incident. (NAN)
