Ganduje urges prayers for peaceful handover on May 29

KANO State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has urged Imams and other Muslims to offer special prayers on Friday to hearld a peaceful and smooth transition of power to the incoming administration in the state.
In a statement on Friday, Kano Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Malam Muhammad Garba said: “Governor Ganduje, has asked clerics to offer special prayers and duas for a peaceful and smooth transition of power”.
Garba stated that, the governor also commended the people of the state for their support to his administration, “which enabled the implementation of commendable development programmes.”
He added that Ganduje further emphasised the need to consolidate the policies that guarantee peace in the state through fervent prayers.
