FERDINAND Mbum, General Manager, Mighty Jets International FC of Jos, has approved the payment of N100 only by football lovers and fans as gate fee during the club’s home matches.

A statement by Jerry Udoh, the club’s media consultant, said that the decision was in view of the harsh economic condition in the country.

Mbum encouraged fans and supporters of Mighty Jets and indeed, football lovers across Plateau and beyond, to always troop into the New Jos Stadium in their numbers to cheer Jets to victory.

The Jos-based club prepares to welcome their close-door neighbours, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, on Saturday for their Day 2 match of the Nigerian National League (NNL) 2023/2024 season.

The match would be the club’s first home match of the season.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Mighty Jets held former Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Yobe Desert Stars FC, 2-2 away from home in the opening season tie.

Wikki, on the other hand, thrashed EFCC FC of Abuja 5-0 in Bauchi. (NAN)
