Ghana Consulate expresses sadness at Rashid Bawa's death

THE Consulate-General of the Republic of Ghana has expressed sorrow at the passing away of Rashid Bawa, Ghana’s High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The sad event occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2024 in Abuja.

Announcing the demise, in a statement on Friday the Consulate-General of the Republic of Ghana in Lagos presents its compliments to all Diplomatie and Consular Missions, and International Organisations accredited to the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Lagos, and with deep sorrow.

It said that to this effect, the Consulate would open a Book of Condolence at the Consulate-General located at 12B, Oba Akinjobi Crescent Way, G.R.A Ikeja, from Monday 18th through Thursday 21th March, 2024 from 10:00am -14hrs each day.

“The Consulate-General of the Republic of Ghana avails itself of this opportunity to renew to all Diplomatic and Consular Missions and International Organisations accredited to the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Lagos, the assurances of its highest consideration.

“May the soul of HE Rashid Bawa rest in perfect peace,” the statement said.
