THE Chairman, Ido-Osi Local Government Area in Ekiti, Mr Bamidele Omoleye, has urged workers in the council to take good care of their health in the course of discharging their duties.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Omoleye gave the advice  during a meeting with the workers of the council on Monday in Ido-Ekiti.

He described good health as a necessary factor for excellence, diligence, outstanding work and quality service delivery.

Omoleye appealed to the workers to improve their working relationship and always work towards the development of the council.

He particularly charged heads of departments to always imbibe good leadership qualities that junior workers could emulate and be proud of.

” I want to urge every workers in Ido-Osi Local Government Area to give priority to their well-being and health as we start the new year.

” It is very important because we do not want to record any cases of ill health or untimely death among us in 2025 as a result of nonchalant attitude to ones health.

“Also, I want to appeal to every worker to improve their working relationship and ethics. If you are known for coming late to office, stop it.

” If you are known to be lazy at work, this is a new year, embrace diligence and be hardworking.

” As we have all started the 2025 in good health, the Lord will grant us grace to see the end of the year in good health,” he said.

Omoleye further assured the workers that his administration would continue to create an enabling environment and give priority to their welfare. (NAN)
