GOCOP congratulates Edomaruse on his new appointment by Okpebholo

THE Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has congratulated Collins Edomaruse, who was appointed special adviser on International Development Partners (IDP) by Monday Okpebholo, Edo State governor. 

Edomaruse before his appointment last week was the general secretary of Guild of Corporate Online Publishers and the publisher and editor-in-chief of Metrowatch. 

Maureen Chigbo, president of GOCOP and publisher of Realnews, lauded the governor on his choice of a capable and experienced hand like Edomaruse as an adviser.

Chigbo, in a press statement by Remmy Nweke, GOCOP publicity secretary, also assured Edomaruse of the support other members in carrying out his duties.

Edomaruse, who is a founding member of GOCOP, is also a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), among others.

Edomaruse has also held several senior editorial management positions in THISDAY, including Group News Editor, Group Politics Editor, Deputy Editor, Daily, Saturday and Sunday titles, respectively, as well as the Editor, Nation’s Capital/Abuja Bureau.

Also known as ‘General’ because of his mastery of the Defence Beat, his records in THISDAY have remained unbeaten, where he ranked the best among the editors.
