Gov Abdulrazaq putting Kwara youths to productive enterprise – First Lady
GENERAL, General News
The First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, ended her three-day working visit to Kwara on Thursday, commending Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for engaging the youths in productive enterprise.
Tinubu said this while visiting the Kwara Garment Factory, another signature project of the state governor and the biggest of its kind in Nigeria.
She interacted with the factory’s workers, urging them to make the most of the governor’s foresight by working hard.
“What your governor has done is to create opportunities for enterprise and productive engagement of youths and women.
“I want you to work hard and become successful.
“I’m here purposely to encourage you to make this a huge success for yourself and your state,” she said.
NAN reports the president’s wife later gave each worker a stipend of N20,000 for lunch.
The aircraft conveying her left the tarmac of the Gen. Tunde Idiagbon International Airport at about 2.22 p.m.
She left in the company of the vice president’s wife, Nana Shettima and others in her entourage. (NAN)
