Gov. Alia appoints Ajim DG Plenipotentiary, Abuja Liason Office

GOV. Hyacinth Alia has approved the appointment of Dr. Jimmy Ajim as the Director-General, Plenipotentiary and Liaison Affairs, Abuja.

Ajim’s appointment was announced in a statement signed by Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Sunday in Makurdi.

The statement said that the appointment was with immediate effect.

A graduate of Kingston University, London, and Zug University, Switzerland, Ajim has strong skills in leadership and management, public relations, protocol, diplomacy and logistics.

He has been a liaison officer, protocol and logistics officer, executive officer (external relations) with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), in Nigeria and London.

He also served as senior manager, protocol, Office of the Minister of State for Petroleum, Abuja.

“It is the belief of Gov. Alia that Ajim’s wealth of experience and trustworthy record of service will add significant value to the government,” the statement said.

“The statement quoted Alia as charging Ajim to remain focused and align his work with the vision of the administration as outlined in the working document.

The governor also urged him to always prioritise the interest of the state in all official functions.(NAN)
