Gov. Nwifuru promises all-inclusive government in Ebonyi

GOV. Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi has promised that his administration will run an all-inclusive government to enhance development in the state.
Nwifuru made the remark on Sunday, during a Special Thanksgiving service to mark his successful inauguration as the 4th democratically-elected governor at Emmanuel Catholic Parish, Edukwuachi, Agbaja in Izzi Local Government Area of the state.
He assured the people that his administration would do justice to everything that concerned the welfare of the people and in consolidating development in the state.
He also announced that political appointments would be carried out soon.
The governor said that professionals would be involved and allowed in the appointment to handle projects for development and growth.
He also affirmed that his administration would make remarkable progress with such measure.
“We need to allow professionals, who are not politicians, to handle projects and our administration will do tremendously well.
“Our purpose also for coming on board is to unite all and sustain the development in place,” Nwifuru said.
He ascribed the achievements attained so far to “commitment and miracle”.
The governor thanked Bishop emeritus, Michael Okoro, and other religious leaders for their spiritual support for peace in the state.
In a sermon, Rev. Fr. Jude Agama, congratulated the governor on successful inauguration. (NAN)
