Gov. Soludo appoints 20-man Education Advisory Council members

GOV. Charles Soludo has appointed 20 persons into the Anambra State Education Advisory Council.

The governor’s spokesman, Mr Christian Aburime, stated in Awka on Sunday that the appointments took immediate effect.

Gov. Soludo is the chairman of the council, while former aviation minister, Chief Osita Chidoka and former Director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s Business School, Prof. Austin Nonyelu are some of the members.

Other members were drawn from education stakeholders across the state.

Some of them are Prof. Greg Nwakoby, Vice-Chancellor Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. O.S.A Obikeze and Prof S.O.E Ogbogu.

Soludo also appointed Mr Partick Onyedum as Chairman, Anambra Sports Commission and Mr Ikeobi Ejiofor as Managing Director Anambra Water Resources Management Agency.

He appointed Mr Osita Onuko, as Managing Director, Awka Capital Development Authority and Mr Kingsley Nduka as head, Anambra Road Maintenance Agency. (NAN)
