Gov. Sule appoints acting Head of Service

GOV. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has appointed  Barr. Abigail Waya as acting Head of Civil Service in the state.

This is contained in a statement by Alh. Ubandoma Aliyu, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lafia.

Aliyu said the appointment of the Waya in acting capacity followed the retirement of Abari Aboki, immediate past Head of Service after attaining the mandatory 60 years retirement age.

According to the statement, the appointment takes effect from Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.

“Until her appointment, the acting Head of Service was the Permanent Secretary, Establishment and Manpower Development, Office of the Head of Civil Service,” the statement added.

It further stated that the acting Head of Service would be inaugurated at a later date. (NAN)
