Governor Adeleke bags NIPR Excellence Award

OSUN Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has received the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations Award of Excellence and Recognition as Patron of NIPR Osun state chapter. 

The governor was given the award at the 2023 Osun NIPR Excellence Public Service Awards by the Professional body, in recognition of the laudable governance of his administration.

This development as made known by the representative of the Governor, the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, indicates that Governor Ademola Adeleke is performing in Osun state.

The commissioner described the award as another recognition of Governor Adeleke’s committment to public service.

“The role of NIPR as a manager of communication between the government and the people cannot be over-emphasized, and the government of Governor Ademola knows and appreciates the importance of the public relations expert.

“If there’s no robust public communication or information, it may lead to conflict resulting to material loss of lives and properties, but the importance of NIPR as a body of professionals communicating with the people and giving right information is laudable.

“This government will not shy away from cooperating with the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations NIPR

 We are ready to live up to the expectations of the good people of Osun state.

Governor Ademola Adeleke reiterated that, with NIPR as the intermediary between the government, corporate bodies, organizations and the public, communication is key, and this government will ensure that its good image subsist.
