A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State and former Deputy Governor of the State,  Yomi Awoniyi, an architect, has hailed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his people oriented projects, saying the people of the State are satisfied with the performance of the Governor so far.

The former Deputy Governor who spoke exclusively to Kogistate.gov.ng said the Governor has shown he was prepared for the task of development of the state going by the level of achievements within the first year of his administration.

“I am proud of my decision to support and also mobilize support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. He is massively justifying our confidence in his capacity to deliver good governance to the people.

“I have seen some of his projects and I am convinced that he will do even more in the coming years. He is a leader who is committed to development and the welfare of the people. He has shown that his years under the former  Governor were not wasted.

“Kogi West is witnessing road constructions, upgrade and remodelling of Primary Healthcare Centres as well as good projects at the Kogi State University, Kabba. We are also aware that work will soon start at the College of Education (Technical), Mopa”, he said.

Awoniyi urged the people of Kogi State to continue to support the development initiatives of the Ododo Administration.
