BENUE State Governor Samuel Ortom on Saturday at 8:50 am arrived the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to open his defense.
All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the 2019 general election Barr. Emmanuel Jime had dragged Ortom to the Tribunal shortly after he was declared winner in the elections.
Jime, who is challenging the election of Governor Ortom, is praying the court to nullify Ortom’s election and declare him winner.
Any moment from now, Ortom will be entering the witness box.
