Governor Soludo urges Anambra people to think home for investment

GOVERNOR Charles Chukwuma Soludo has enjoined Anambra people living outside the stay to think home and bring some of their development plans and investment to Anambra.
Also, Soludo assured them that the government is working hard to put in place civil infrastructures and government policy for a greatly improved investment friendly environment.
Soludo made this known at the town hall meeting he had with Anambra people in Abuja on Thursday.
He also noted that the government is striving had to improve, contain and bring to an end the insecurity situation in the State.
According to him, some of the hardened kingpins of the men of the underworld have been taken out and the security apparatus of the State beefed up while rolling out a plausible 30-month development plan that will see Anambra State competing with Dubai and some of the best Cities in World.
He, however, noted that this is a project that all Anambra people and well meaning investors must key into. He further enthused about the ease of doing business in Anambra State as development partners would be assisted in acquiring lands for both Estate and industrial development.
He stated that to qualify to benefit from the land investment scheme, the Investor must show evidence of good financial standing and readiness to start development in earnest and not to acquire the land and hold onto it for futuristic purposes.
The Town Hall meeting was well attended by who is who of Anambra State resident in Abuja among other dignitaries from within and without. Governor Otti of Abia State was also in attendance.

Offor had notable illustrious sons and daughters of Anambra State in attendance including Chris Ngige, former governor of Anambra State, all the serving and outgone Senators of Anambra extraction including Uche Ekwunife, Tony Nwoye, Ifeanyi Uba and Victor Umeh. They all pledged their unalloyed support to put party politics aside and work together towards making Anambra State great and have a price of place in Nigeria.
