The Grand Finale and Award Ceremony of the Anambra Talent Show Season 2 takes place at Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka on Sunday, March 26, starting from 2pm.

Organised by the office of the Special Adviser to the Anambra State Governor on Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism in partnership with Bring it on Africa (a Non-Governmental Organisation), the Anambra Talent Show Season 2 has the noble aims of discovering new talents in the areas of Acting, Singing, Dancing, and Technovation.

The Talent Show started with a lecture series on November 4, 2022 at Stanel Dome, Awka where over 3000 youths and young adults were in attendance.

Reputable persons in business, the academia, government, and politicians discussed topics that included “Responsibilities of Government in Youth Empowerment”, “Youth and Creative Economy”, and “Protecting the Girl Child in the African Society.”

The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim, superintended the lectures while the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Uche Okafor, was in attendance alongside many Commissioners and Dignitaries.

The Special Adviser to the Anambra State Governor on Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism, Hon Bob-Manuel Udokwu, stresses: “The Grand Finale promises to be a spectacular entertainment event where eventual winners in the four categories of the Talent Show will be unveiled. It will also be a befitting round-up of activities marking Mr. Governor’s One Year in office since it is the first Talent Show in the administration.”

The Anambra Talent Show spectacular is another demonstration of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s drive to make Anambra State a liveable and prosperous homeland.
