THE President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Ambassadors for Nigeria’s Greatness (BANG) has urged Nigerians to embrace the Federal Government’s policies and programmes for a better Nigeria.
The group made the appeal on Saturday night at the end of a strategic meeting held in Lagos by its national leadership and the state coordinators.
The statement was made available to newsmen on Sunday in Abuja by the National Coordinator, BAT Ambassadors, Chief Jamiu Ekungba.
The group urged Nigerians to continue to pray and show understanding with the government
The BAT Ambassadors observed the efforts of President Tinubu “to steer the ship of the Nigerian state from a total collapse to the right direction.”
“We also acknowledge the pains that have resulted from the president’s well intentioned efforts,” it said.
It stressed that “BAT Ambassadors believe as Allah assures us in the Quran chapter 94 v 5 that after pain comes ease.
“We therefore urge the nation to be hopeful, prayerful and be patient with the president to bring ease to the nation expeditiously.
“We equally request Nigerians to always remember the leadership of the country in prayers for God’s guidance and grace, in accordance with the teachings of the two great religions- Islam and Christianity- that we profess.”
Chief Ekungba said the strategic meeting featured reports from state coordinators on how they are canvassing support for the programmes and policies of the Federal Government and clearing areas of doubts in the minds of the populace.
He said that two paper presentations were made on “Scanning the Political Environment & The Strategic Way Forward ” and “Dynamics & Dialectics of Social Media” by Professor Mojeed Alabi and Mr Y.K.O. Kareem, a legal practitioner, respectively.(NAN)
