THE political atmosphere in Kontagora Local Government Area of Niger State has never been as peaceful as it was when the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, campaign team stormed Kontagora in continuation of gubernatorial campaign for the forthcoming general elections.
The gubernatorial candidate, Khadijah Abdullahi Iya, after being received by the party supporters proceeded to the Palace of His Royal Highness Muhammad Barau Muazu, the second for royal blessings.
Khadijah Abdullahi Iya re-emphasized that if elected, her administration will run an open door policy for indigenes of Niger state and called on more people to come out and join politics in order to build the nation better.
“No candidate in Niger State right now has the capacity that we have, we have capacity, we have competence and we have excellent character to deliver In Sha Allah,” she said.
She also called on the electorate to come out in their numbers in order to exercise their right to vote the candidate of their choice.
