SINGER Raquel Hage has revealed that having a great voice is just a tip of the iceberg to getting recognised in the ever-evolving Nigerian music space.

The rising act noted, in a chat with The Nation, that as an artist, more qualities are required for success.

The Afro-pop singer disclosed this in a recent chat with The Nation while speaking on her latest song ‘Dance’ featuring Nigerian rapper Magnito.

She said, “Having a great voice is just the tip of the iceberg, not only does Raquel have a nice voice but also I am a workaholic. I am determined, passionate, and have the drive an artist needs to keep pushing in a competitive industry like ours.”

Describing her latest single ‘Dance’, she said “The song ‘dance’ featuring Magnito was intended to be a club banger and also to showcase Raquel’s multiple talents such as dance capability and vocal range.”

Sharing her favorite Nigerian music stars, the bi-racial singer with Lebanese and Liberian roots mentioned Adekunle Gold, Yemi Alade, Asa, and Brymo as some of her top favorites.
