Health Bill: Reps Committee on health invites NUPCAM to public hearing

THE Committee on healthcare services of the House of Representatives has extended an invitation to the Nigerian Union of Practitioners of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, NUPCAM, to a public hearing on the health Bill.

In a letter dated April 4, 2023, the committee highlighted that the Bill is for an act to provide for the establishment of Traditional Complementary and Alternative Medicine Council of Nigeria; and for related matters (HB.2172).

According to the letter, which was signed by Atiku Mohammed Kaigo, DD/Clerk to the committee, the public hearing is scheduled to be held in Abuja at 10am on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Conference Room 236, New Building, House of Representatives National Assembly.

The committee therefore urged the union to forward 25 hard copies and one soft copy of its memorandum on the Bill, addressed to the Clerk of the committee not later than mid-day on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
