Henry Okah revelations ant Tony Nnadi's highfalutin Lower Niger Congress -NINAS scam - Moonlight tales from an Igbo German political prostitute
Opinion
By Nwankwo T. Nwaezeigwe
I am compelled to write what might look like a response to someone who does not merit a modicum of attention or respect under the normal Igbo social setting as a woman. However, as our people often say, a little child dancing on the center of the road must have someone beating the drum for her in the nearby bush; I have decided to stop that child from dancing at the center of the road in order to force that person beating the drum for her out of the nearby bush.
I write not in responses to Henry Okah’s moving letter but to the vituperation of one of Tony Nnadi’s political hirelings called Nneoma who horribly styles herself as Ada-Ndigbo in Berlin, Germany. This Igbo woman of easy virtue and moronic insanity employed to market the floundering political scam called Lower Niger Congress currently operating clandestinely under the bogus self-determination group called Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS), in her bid to defend her paymaster Tony Nnadi against Henry Okah’s scathing remarks alleged both in written words and through a verbal message to a Germany-based Igbo patriot Elder Tango Ugochukwu that my reason for founding the Coalition against Christian Genocide in Nigeria is to defraud Igbo people.
I am not in any manner worried by this horrendous disinformation painted in organic witchery insults by this retired and tired prostitute from Imo State, because my pedigree as a scholar, an unrepentant Igbo patriot and civil rights activist is not only in the public space but well established in my hometown Ibusa where I am a first-class traditional chief and, University of Nigeria Nsukka, where I remain not only a bona fide academic staff by law but had the privilege of serving as the pioneer Director of the Centre for Igbo Studies.
I want to point out that I have received more than fifty personal email reactions to my last article on Asari Dokubo before Henry Okah’s response. I decided to specifically make Okah’s response public for the following three reasons:
First is the need to draw the attention of patriotic Nigerians to the awful experience of a Nigerian patriot in a South African Prison for a crime deemed to have been committed against the Federal Republic of Nigeria and not against the Government of South Africa; and which is not as dreadful and heinous as what is being committed currently against the Nigerian Christians by Muslim Fulani herdsmen, Muslim Bandits, Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP). Yet most of the perpetrators of these crimes against humanity and their known sponsors are not only walking free on the streets of Nigeria but have some elected into important political offices.
The second is the need to objectively draw the attention of patriotic Nigerians with the intent of mobilizing support for Henry Okah’s freedom against what we consider as a misplaced and politically motivated crime; which might not be possible to pursue without a clear evidence of Henry Okah’s personal account.
Third and finally, his letter not only confirmed in little detail the link between his present predicament and Asari Dokubo’s heinous betrayal, but raises some questions on Tony Nnadi’s true objectives in both his Lower Niger Congress and now NINAS.
And let me state it pointedly and clear. Mr. Tony Nnadi owes explanations to Nigerians over Henry Okah’s difficult-to-deny revelations in person, and not by delegating a band of befuddled rag-tag Igbo prostitutes and political minions led by Nneoma, the self-styled Ada-Ndigbo Berlin Germany and political scavenger, to shamelessly exhibit their addle-brained idiosyncrasies and homunculus mindsets at public spaces. This is imperative because Tony Nnadi has to prove that his LNC under NINAS is not a political scam like Nnamdi Kanu’s Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).
I wish to point out that I never knew the lady called Nneoma until July 9, 2023 when she called and introduced herself as Nneoma from Germany, requesting to talk with me. In the process of our preliminary discussion she pleaded to add someone she described as my sister to the discussion. That person turned out to be Miss Ndidi Uwechue, daughter of late Chief Ralph Uwechue, a former Biafran Ambassador to France and ex-President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo.
Both ladies attempted to lure me into joining or at best merging our new organization, International Coalition against Christian Genocide in Nigeria (CAC-GEN with their Tony Nnadi’s faltering Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS). I tried to convince them that it would be impossible for me to be part of NINAS because the organization’s aims and objectives are in stark contrast to those of International Coalition against Christian Genocide in Nigeria.
International Coalition against Christian Genocide in Nigeria is not an ethnic based organization like NINAS and Lower Niger Congress but a purely Christian group solely predicated on the protection of Nigerian Christians against the on-going genocide, kidnapping for ransom and displacement of indigenous Nigerian Christians from their ancestral lands by Muslim Fulani-powered Fulani herdsmen, Bandits, Boko Haram and ISWAP.
Bbbbb
After more than two hours heated attempt to convince me that the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is the mother of all sins in our nation without success, they agreed to join our whatsapp group with the further understanding that NINAS should summon Igbo nationality groups to define a common ground. Nneoma further requested my permission to invite another lady from the United States called Ekwutosi Okube who turned out to be another woman of easy virtue. These three women attempted unsuccessfully to ensnare members of International Coalition against Christian Genocide in Nigeria with their evil and seductive NINAS apple which was strongly resisted, leading to their unceremonious exit.
There is gainsaying the fact that Tony Nnadi’s Lower Niger Congress’s is simply the bogus elitist version of the rabble-rousing Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) which thrives ignominiously in calculated political deception with no defined ideological direction, instinctive disinformation founded on devious ethnic sentiment and, despicable extortion of unsuspecting members to fund its clay-footed structure. Furthermore, Tony Nnadi shares the same highfalutin mentality of untenable bogus political vision, historical short-sightedness and dogmatic high-handedness colored in false political enchantment and delusive elitism with Nnamdi Kanu.
Both Tony Nnadi and Nnamdi Kanu in their uncanny delusions believe that collective Igbo political interest must be defined or subjugated under their narrow-minded and outdated political vision of a skewed Biafran State. This explains why both of them never saw the wisdom and possibility of having an Igbo President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria through Mr. Peter Obi. Yet majority of those unsuspectingly funding his obvious political scam are patriotic Igbo sons mostly based in the United States, like the case of Nnamdi Kanu, who are ardent supporters of Peter Obi’s Presidency.
There is therefore no denying the fact that the context on which the Lower Niger Congress objectives are predicated is self-determination; which is the same context on both the IPOB and Ilana Omo Oodua are predicated. So when some of us listen to Tony Nnadi and his ideologically hypnotized and bankrupt members tell Nigerians that their major objective is to change the Nigerian 1999 Constitution, one begins to ask what relationship has self-determination with the 1999 Constitution, just the same way we might ask the relationship between the vulture and the barber. So far Nigerians have not seen the prototype of Tony Nnadi’s Golden Constitution of the Federal Republiuuc of Nigeria. Is this not a pure scam?
It should be recalled that Tony Nnadi on November 30, 2022 made the following debasing statements against Peter Obi’s Presidency which by extension was considered as both an insult to Obidients and betrayal of the collective political interest of the Igbo nation:
“We repeat, the presidency is not won on the premise of wishful thinking and hullabaloo of an untamed mob, who probably do not even understand the need for a pathway for the Igbo nation, pushing for a new narrative for the Igbo nation. If Peter Obi is being asked to drop his presidential ambition and join the campaign for fundamental Constitutional Reconstruction that will free the Igbo and other constituent components of Nigeria from the toxic bondage of Unitary Nigeria, that will be much better understood….”
The above statement under the present context of a besieged Igbo nation can only come from such notable Igbo quislings as Hope Uzodinma, Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Arthur Eze, Chimaroke Nnamani, Joe Igbokwe, Chukwuma Soludo, Dave Umahi and Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, to mention just a few. Indeed, from repeated anti-Igbo vituperation of Tony Nnadi, it appears that even as a lawyer he is not well acquainted with the stream of Igbo historical experience in Nigeria. This might explain why he found it difficult to work successfully together with the more cerebral Prof Banji Akintoye-led Yoruba group.
On 30th November, 2021, the Chairman of the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS) Professor Banji Akintoye not only resigned his position as NINAS chairman but pulled out his Ilana Omo Oodua (IOO) — the umbrella body of Yoruba self-determination groups. The question is with this crop of prominent Yoruba members of NINAS quitting, what then remains of the organization? Tony Nnadi is yet to explain to Nigerians what transpired between him and Prof Akintoye that resulted in his resignation and eventual pulling out with all his kinsmen. Indeed, it will be instructive to quote an excerpt of the statement of resignation by Ilana Omo Oodua:
It is our well-considered opinion that some of those we align with in NINAS do not want the kind of SELF-DETERMINATION that we the Yoruba people want. Therefore, we the leadership of Ilana Omo Oodua, wish to inform the general public that the Yoruba Bloc under the leadership of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide has moved out of the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS) with immediate effect in order to safeguard the integrity and honour of our agitation for Self-Determination. We thank the Leader of LNC, Mr. Tony Nnadi, for his inputs to the NINAS struggle since inception.
However, it is now obvious to most people in the Yoruba Self-Determination struggle that the LNC is not working in tandem with our objective in Ilana Omo Oodua.”
It should be noted that NINAS before Prof Akintoye’s exit was the umbrella body of three major self-determination groups with Ilana Omo Oodua representing the Yoruba bloc, the Lower Niger Congress (LNC) led by Tony Nnadi representing the South East and South-South and the Middle Belt represented by Middle Belt Renaissance Movement.
The pulling away of the Yoruba meant that NINAS is left with only the Lower Niger Congress and Middle Belt Renaissance Movement. And with Henry Okah’s comment on Tony Nnadi, it means that the Lower Niger Congress has indeed degenerated to the sorry state of an indigenous Igbo self-determination Biafran group masquerading as the champion of anti-1999 Constitution.
Indeed when Henry Okah’s brief analysis of his relationship with the various individuals mentioned in his letter is placed side by side with Tony Nnadi’s catalogue of spurious political propagation, one is convinced that not only is Henry Okah better acquainted with the Igbo problem, but more cerebral than Tony Nnadi. Politically and ideologically defined therefore, Tony Nnadi is likened to a man inside a calabash floating on a river beaten around by current without a defined destination.
