Explaining rationale for the awards, Chooks Oko, one of the organisers noted that it was only proper to acknowledge the hard work of those who toil day and night to make life easier for others. ‘There are unique qualities to each of the awardees. They exude a lot of selflessness in their handling of given assignments and relationship with the people. Our aim is to appreciate these people so that they can keep doing good while motivating others to emulate them,” Oko said.
