BREAKING NEWS, Health

AISHA Buhari, the wife of the president, has said that the health of her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, is not as bad as people are portraying it to be.

In her official twitter handle @aishambuhari, and her Facebook page, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, May 2, the wife disclosed that the president had continued to carry out his responsibilities as president of Nigeria without any problem.

The president’s wife wrote: “I thank all Nigerians for their concern, love and prayers over my husband’s health status.

“I wish to inform everyone that his health is not as bad as it’s being perceived. Meanwhile, he continues to carry out his responsibilities during this period.

“As it may come to your notice, he is meeting with minister of Justice and GMD of NNPC this evening (Tuesday).”

President Buhari’s absence from public glare in the past two weeks, seemed to have suggested that he was ailing. As if that was not bad enough, Buhari has not attended the last three Federal Executive Council meetings held at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, this has also triggered speculation that the president’s health may be very bad, even after his return from the UK for medical vacation.
