I have prepared for parliament dissolution ahead of election – Thai PM

THAI Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha on Friday said that he had prepared for the dissolution of the parliament, an expected move ahead of a general election.
“I have prepared for the parliament dissolution. We have to wait for the announcement in the Royal Gazette,’’ Prayut told reporters during his visit to the northern city of Chiang Mai.
This came as the House of Representatives is heading to the next week when its four-year term is scheduled to end.
Within five days from the implementation of a royal decree for the dissolution of the House of Representatives, the country’s Election Commission must set a date for the general election. (Xinhua/NAN)
