THE Idemili South Local Government Area (ISLGA) Chairman, Mrs Amaka Obi has celebrated her birthday at a low key with the orphans at the Orphanage Homes at, Umuoji.

The Amazon, Mrs Obi who has been known for her impactful administration at ISLGA has touched so many lives including youths, girl child, boy child, widows, and women.

According to the entire Idemili people, the best way to celebrate life is by sharing whatever the grace of God brought your way with the less privileged, abandoned, forgotten ones and down trodden.

The chairman said, it is my usual way of celebrating birthday, any achievement, or new attainment in life. We are all enjoying privileges by the grace of God, we were not created better than those people abandoned and less privileged today.

“Instead of throwing a lavish party inviting fellow politicians, the rich and mighty, it is better I share something no matter how small from the much that God blessed me with, celebrating with the orphans in this nearby orphanage. I don’t need it publicized, it is between me and my God,” Mrs Obi said.

She praised God Almighty the giver of life, all and sundry both within and outside ISLGA which called on phone and visited her office with gifts to felicitate with her especially the leadership of Oba Community NYSC Corp members who presented the sixth birthday cake for the day at the Secretariat, Ojoto.

Presenting the cake on behalf of Oba Corpers, Nonso Onuorah and Ifeanyi Okeke described the Chairman as a caring mother who understands the plights of her subjects, wishing her the best in life.

The trio of the ISLGA Secretary Mr. Evaristus Ofido, Head, Local Government Area, Mrs Amaka Nkemdilim and Head Personnel Management, Mrs Anthonia Olie JP after eulogizing the administrative prowess and intellectual capacity of Iyom Idemili wished her greater upliftment in her political career, long life, good health and prosperity.
