##Others are Prof. Chidi Osuagwu, Imo State Rep. BOT Member, Anya-Ndi-Igbo; Dr. John Out, Ebonyi State Rep. BOT Member, Anya-Ndi-Igbo; Prof. Uche Azikiwe, Rep. of Women Organizations, Anya-Ndi-Igbo; Chief Emeka Diwe, President Ass. Of Igbo Town Unions; Delly Ajofor, BOT Member Anya-Ndi-Igbo; Dr. Amadi Ebube, President Global Igbo Leaders, GIL; Kachi Nwoga, Chairman Political Action Committee, Anya-Ndi-Igbo; and Ikechukwu Amaechi, Chairman Media and Strategic Committee Anya-Ndi-Igbo.
The statement reads:
“We at Anya-Ndi-Igbo wish to thank the Nigerian voters across board for heeding our call to vote the Labour Party, LP, candidate, Peter Obi at the Presidential Election of the 25th February 2023. You all came out patriotically to fulfill your civic duties against the so-called odds of INEC’S logistics and technical challenges.
“We appreciate your response to our appeal, and we salute you. We hereby call on you once again to repeat the performance during the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections on March 11.
“ We invite you again to cast your votes for candidates who have integrity, competence, capacity, and who are responsive to the common good. We need to use our hard-earned votes to usher in change that is good for us in general, but especially for our teeming youths yearning for better governance that would guarantee good paying jobs, security, and better opportunities at the state levels.
“We enjoin you to acquaint yourselves with the logos of all the political P
parties to enable you cast your votes appropriately. This is especially important for rural voters, where not much voter education was conducted.
“Finally, we call on all Nigerians to hold faith with the electoral process, to remain steadfast and law-abiding, vigilant and resolute during the elections; even as all aggrieved parties head to the law courts to get justice for electoral infractions against them and their parties.
“We urge that you cast your votes and watch over your votes. Remember, until your vote is cast, collated, counted and transmitted, it does not count. May God bless the Nigerian voters and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
