Igbos in Lagos mourn Iwuanyanwu's death

THE Ndigbo in Lagos State have described the passing of Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide as a great loss to humanity.

The group, which expressed deep sadness and heavy hearts on Iwuanyanwu’s death, noted that he dedicated his life to the service and upliftment of the Igbo people.

“As a prominent figure in the Nigerian business and political landscape, he was known for his unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of Ndigbo all over the world.

“His passing is a great loss not just for Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, but for Ndigbo everywhere. Chief Iwuanyanwu’s wisdom, guidance, and passion for the advancement of our people will be sorely missed. Let us honour his memory by continuing his work and striving for the betterment of our community.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Chief Iwuanyanwu’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.
