I‘ll build Anambra Airport, upgrade Ogbunike Cave, says Obiano

GOVERNOR Willie Obiano of Anambra State has re-affirmed that he will build the Anambra State Airport and also rehabilitate the Ogbunike Cave if re-elected on November 18.

Obiano said this during a Campaign rally at Nteje, Oyi Local Government Area.

Obiano recounted his achievements in Oyi LGA – road re-construction at Oye Olisa Market, street lights at the major roads, bridge construction across Nengo River, Nteje.

He also pledged to complete some short roads and create industries to reduce the high rate of unemployment among youths, if re-elected.

Nkem Okeke, the deputy governor of Anambra State, and his wife, were present at the event.

Others include Victor Umeh, the national chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Tony Nnacheta, commissioner for Information and Communications Strategy, traditional rulers from the five communities.

The rally featured the breaking of kola nuts, presented by the community, as well as dance shows, the Ijele masquerade, local gun shots, chants by various wards.
