FORMER US president, Donald Trump, has vowed never to surrender following another assassination attempt on his life on Sunday.

Gunshots were fired at Trump’s golf course near West Palm Beach while he was present.

Feds have since confirmed that the incident was a failed assassination attempt.

An alert sent out by Trump’s team insisted that the Republican candidate is “safe and well”.

It read: “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I am safe and well

“Nothing will slow me down. I will never surrender.”

This comes months after Trump survived a separate attempt on his life that saw him shot in the ear.
