Inauguration: Sanwo-Olu congratulates President Tinubu

GOV. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Monday congratulated President Bola Tinubu on taking the Oath of Office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Sanwo-Olu, in his Facebook page, described President Tinubu as the ideal choice to lead Nigerians into a new era of prosperity and unity.

He said that it was an honour to serve as the Governor of Lagos under Tinubu’s visionary leadership as the president.

”I would like to congratulate our new President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, on taking the Oath of Office and becoming President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

”In his inaugural speech, he already set down the gauntlet for what will be the transformative and uplifting years for Nigerians.

”His exceptional track record as an innovative leader and his tireless efforts to uplift the lives of ordinary Nigerians make him the ideal choice to lead us into a new era of prosperity and unity.

”I look forward to working with H.E President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to tackle the challenges we face as a nation and to seize the abundant opportunities that lie ahead.

”Let us all unite as one Nigeria, standing strong in our diversity even as we embark on this journey of progress.

”May God bless our new President and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!,” the governor said. (NAN)
