INC commends Tinubu for appointing Walson-Jack Head of Civil Service

THE Ijaw National Congress (INC), Worldwide, has commended President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of Mrs Didi Watson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The commendation was made in a congratulatory message signed and delivered to Walson-Jack in Abuja on Tuesday by Prof. Benjamin Okaba and Chief Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha, President and National Publicity Secretary, respectively, of INC.

Tinubu had last Wednesday, approved the appointment of Walson-Jack as Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

She is expected to take over from the incumbent Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is due to retire on Aug. 13.

Okaba and Oyakemeagbegha in the congratulatory message made available to NAN in a statement, described Walson-Jack as a person of high intellect, an epitome of professional excellence, dedication, efficiency, commitment and loyalty.

They also noted that she would bring her sterling and exceptional qualities to bear in her assignment as Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

According to the message, “the INC wishes to congratulate Walson-Jack, on her recent appointment as Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Congress is very proud of her accomplishments as we have followed her exemplary career development from the Bayelsa Civil Service to her employment into the Federal Civil Service.

“Congress also wants to use this medium to thank President Bola Tinubu, for finding her worthy of this challenging appointment.

“It is our prayers that the Almighty God will grant Mr President the wisdom, good health and strength to perform the onerous task of steering the ship of the country right. (NAN)
