Indian Navy recovers body of missing pilot

The Indian Navy has recovered the body of a missing MiG-29K aircraft pilot Commander, Nishant Singh, on the seabed at a depth of 70 metres.

The aircraft, a fighter trainer jet of the Indian Navy, had crashed on November 26 while operating over the Arabian Sea.

According to Indian Navy officials, the body of the pilot was found by its personnel 30 miles off the Goa coast after an extensive search.

It added that one of the two pilots who were involved in the accident was earlier rescued after the accident, while one was declared missing. (ANI/NAN)
