Institute trains 55 members ahead induction

THE Chartered Institute of Development Studies and Administration of Nigeria, (CIDSAN) says  55 of its members have been trained ahead of its induction ceremony in Abuja.

The president of the institute, Dr Elijah Ogbuokiri, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday in Abuja.

Ogbuokiri said the training was to re-orientate the new members and keep them abreast with the mandate and objectives of CIDSAN.

He said the recertification training was for new members of the institute in preparation of their  induction that would hold soonest in Abuja.

Ogbuokiri said the training cover six courses offered by the institute which include : Entrepreneurship, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development; Development Projects Planning; Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, as well as Gender Development.

Others are, Public Finance for Development Administration; Development Policy Analysis; Practice and Administration, and Strategies for Sustainable Youth Job Creation and Wealth Creation.
