Isoko North Council Boss reads riots act on health workers

THE Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Christian Othuke Iteire, has frowned at the complete closure of the Primary Healthcare Centre, Edhomoko on Friday, April 30, 2021.

The Council boss, who inspected primary schools in Otor-Owhe, deplored the negative attitude of the health workers in the healthcare centre in Edhomoko, saying that the repugnant attitude of the health workers has put patients from the community and environs in serious health perils.

He expressed his disappointment over the total closure of the healthcare centre and called on the leaders or members of the communities in the local government area to report erring health workers for sanction and necessary disciplinary actions.

The chairman was in company of Ikrumale Jones Oghogho, the supervisor of Works, Alebe Joshua Onos, the supervisor for environment, Mark Ekakitie, the supervisor for Agriculture and Community Development, Ogbo Enakeno Christopher, Supervisor for Education, Surv Irori Samuel, supervisor for Finance, Imogu Joseph Special Assistant to the Chairman and Ovedhe Akemu Nathaniel, the Assistant Director of Education in the Local Government.
