Iteire excited as PDP wins DTHA by-election

CHRISTIAN Othuke Iteire, chairman, Isoko North local government council, has expressed excitement over the overwhelming victory of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the recently held Isoko North State Constituency By-election on Saturday, April 10.
Iteire in a congratulatory message at Ozoro said that the result from the polls clearly reflected the choice of the people in favour of the PDP, and assured that, the people would not be disappointed.
While commending the efforts of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the security agencies, the council boss appreciated the people for coming out enmass to vote for the People’s Democratic Party.
Iteire thanked the leaders of the party in the local government, the state leadership of the party, and the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for their hard work, unity, and cooperation which resulted to the excellent performance of the party, wining the polls with 29,421votes to defeat the other candidates who contested for the legislative seat.
Jude Omena Ogbimi, council chairman congratulated and charged the winner of the by-election, not to renege on his campaign promises but strive to implement them and, give the people of Isoko North State Constituency an efficient legislative representation in the Delta State House of Assembly at Asaba.
