Jeff Radebe, SA’s minister of Energy, to speak at the DLO Africa Power Roundtable London

JEFF Radebe, South Africa’s minister of Energy is confirmed to speak at the upcoming DLO Africa Power Roundtable taking place in London. The Roundtable will bring together a number of Africa’s energy ministers, key policy makers and investors.

South Africa is currently trying to raise $25 billion in investment through its energy sector within the next 5 years. The country recently concluded agreements with the governments of Saudi Arabia and the UAE amounting to $10 billion in investment. A significant portion of that was allocated to the deal signed between South Africa’s Central Energy Fund and Saudi Arabia’s ACWA for the co-development of a 100MW CSP power project in the Northern Cape.

Currently South Africa’s Department of Energy is looking for more investment in the energy sector.
