Jimoh Ibrahim lauds Akeredolu over peaceful elections in Ondo

DR Jimoh Ibrahim, APC Senatorial candidate for Ondo South district has lauded Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for creating an enabling environment for peaceful elections in the state.

Ibrahim, while speaking with journalists on Sunday in Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state said the elections would not have been peaceful if the governor had not created the desired enabling environment.

The business tycoon also scored NEC and security agencies high, saying, ”they performed well to achieve peaceful elections.”

Ibrahim also commended the electorate for coming out massively to exercise their franchise to elect their preferred leaders.

According to him: “I commend Akeredolu for creating an enabling environment for the peaceful election to thrive.

“I salute INEC and the security agencies for being proactive, the BVAS machines and staffers worked fine and everything went smoothly and peaceful.”

Ibrahim, who was confident of victory at the senatorial poll, said he was only waiting for declaration and immediately get down to work and fulfil his electioneering promises to the people.(NAN)
