THE Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos, is wearing a new look ahead of the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) slated for Tuesday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the stadium was given a face lift, being the venue for the presidential campaign take-off in Jos.

A NAN correspondent who visited the stadium on Monday reports that the entire facility has been repainted, new seats were fixed both at the spectators and VIP arena, among other changes.

Mr Idris Wase, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the event, visited the venue for inspection and expressed satisfaction with the current look.

Wase visited the venue alongside Prof. Sonni Tyoden, the Deputy Governor of Plateau and Co-chairman of the LOC and other members of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

NAN also reports that armed security men have been stationed at strategic locations around the stadium for safety of lives and property. (NAN)
