IT was a memorable day today in Plateau State as Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party visited the Internally Displaced Persons in Mangu, Plateau State.

Governor Caleb Muftwang expressed gratitude for his thoughtfulness and courtesy call, while the traditional ruler, Mishkagam da Yilse, and the thousands of IDPs and citizens, who had recently been victims of attacks, were overcome with emotion.

Obi handed out cash cheques and lorry loads of consumables, while commiserating with the people. Many more from neighboring towns and local governments joined in.

Obi was accompanied by Julius Abure, Labour Party chairman, Prophet Isa El buba, party officials and supporters.
