THE Secretary to the Niger State Government (SSG), Ahmed Matane, has commiserated with the people of the state and the Bida Emirate over the death of former Chief Judge of the State, Justice Jibril Ndajiwo, Magajin Gari Nupe.
Late Justice Jibril Ndajiwo died on Aug. 11 in Doko, after a protracted illness.
Matane described the late CJ as a respected Jurist who spent his life in the service of the state, the country, and humanity.
He said his death was a great tragedy and a monumental loss to the state at this very critical period.
He said that late Ndajiwo made a remarkable impact on the state and his chosen career with clear evidence that his death would create a huge gap in the judiciary and his wise counsel would be greatly missed.
According to the SSG, late Ndajiwo was a passionate man, a jurist of high repute, and a man of integrity who rose through the ranks to become the Chief Judge of Niger.
“I commiserate with the immediate family of the deceased on this very huge loss, the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar on the loss of a dependable ally and a loyal council member.
May the Almighty Allah (SWT) grant the soul of the departed eternal rest, reward him with Jannatul Firdausi and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” Matane said. ( NAN)
