Speaking after the game, Kada Queens’ coach, Baba Ndana, said the team’s target was to play in the final match.

He however appreciated the Kaduna hockey stakeholders and specifically the state governor, Uba Sani, for their support.

“We thank God for this victory. Kudos to the girls for a job well done. I also want to thank the Kaduna stakeholders for their support and encouragement.”

“We also want to thank all the teams that represented Nigeria for their support in our last match. It is unfortunate that we did not play the final match which was our target,” Ndana said.
