Kada Queens Coach expects difficult game against Bayelsa Queens

AMINU Shaibu, Head Coach of Kada Queens Football Club, says the team’s encounter with Defending Champions Bayelsa Queens, will be a difficult game.
Shaibu made this known on Tuesday at the club’s training ground, where his girls were perfecting their game plan ahead of the crucial fixture in Kaduna.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the game is scheduled for Wednesday at the Kaduna Township Stadium.
He said Bayelsa Queens would be hard to crack because of their pedigree in female football but his young team were equally up to the tough task and assured football fans of maximum points against the Restoration Girls.
“No doubt, we have a difficult match before us against a side that will be hard to crack. They are the defending champions and on top of our group too.
“They have all the experience against my not-too experienced side.
“We respect them but we don’t in any way fear them because it’s not about the names on paper. By God’s grace, we shall play to win.
“If you look at our last home match against Nasarawa Amazons, you will agree with me that the better side won,’’ Shaibu said.
According to him, we created the most-scoring chances and buried two.
He noted that his girls were beginning to understand how the coaching crew wanted them to play and the result is beginning to manifest.
“The focus is now on Bayelsa Queens as the 2-0 home victory over Nasarawa Amazons is now in the history books.
“Our approach won’t be different. We will take the game to them, create chances of our own and equally punish their errors like we did to Nasarawa Amazons. |
“If we can defeat a strong side like Nasarawa Amazons, then we can defeat any team,’’ Shaibu said.
NAN reports that Kaduna Queens currently sit on the base of Group C.
A win against the visitors from Yenogoa will see them (Kaduna Queens) move out of relegation zone, with the fixture between Nasarawa Amazons and Sunshine Queens billed for Lafia City Stadium postponed. (NAN)
