Kano Deputy Governor Celebrates Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf’s 62nd Birthday

KANO State Deputy Governor Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has conveyed heartfelt congratulations to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on the occasion of his 62nd birthday, praising his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the advancement of Kano State.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, the deputy governor described Governor Yusuf as a “tireless and dedicated leader” whose exemplary governance has reignited hope and driven progress across the state.
Abdussalam commended the governor’s significant achievements in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
“Kano State is fortunate to have a leader of your caliber. Your tireless efforts to improve the lives of Kano’s people have set a benchmark for excellence in governance. We celebrate not just your birthday but your remarkable achievements,” he stated.
The deputy governor also highlighted Governor Yusuf’s humility and ability to unify Kano’s diverse communities, emphasizing his role in fostering peace and sustainable development.
“Your humility and ability to unite Kano’s diverse communities are invaluable. May Allah continue to bless you with wisdom and strength as you steer our state toward greater heights,” he added.
Fondly known as “Abba Gida-Gida” for his close connection to the grassroots, Governor Yusuf has spearheaded transformative policies focused on economic revitalization, youth empowerment, and agricultural reforms, earning widespread admiration for his people-centered approach to governance.
