Kano State Govt. lauds 2 hospitals for imbibing sanitation culture

KANO State Commissioner for Environment, Dr Ali Makoda, on Friday commended Abdullahi Wase hospital and Imam Wali Urology Centre for enforcement of sanitation at the hospitals.
Makoda, who was represented by the Director Administration and General Services of the Ministry, Alhaji Aliyu Garo, made the commendation after monitoring the exercise at the hospitals in Kano.
According to him, the management of the two hospitals have tried in ensuring a healthy environment at the hospitals.
“We have seen their efforts and we have made suggestions on how best to maintain the hospitals.”
“We have also given them two weeks to make the necessary amendments and our staff will return to ensure that all is in order.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Kano State Monthly Environmental Sanitation Committee has began the inspection of hospitals in the metropolis to enforce sanitation at the hospitals.
