Katsina: New NYSC Coordinator promises open-door policy

ALHAJI Sa’idu Ibrahim, the newly deployed National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Coordinator to Katsina State has promised to operate an open door policy.
The coordinator stated this in Katsina on Friday while taking over from Hajiya Aisha Muhammad, who proceeded on retirement.
Ibrahim, while assuming duty, further assured that he would prioritise the welfare of the members of staff and corps members.
He described the state as his second home, saying that he had part of his Secondary education a long time ago in the state.
The coordinator, who commended the outgoing coordinator for her kindness and commitment, also thanked the staffers for their warm reception accorded him.
He further appealed to the entire NYSC staffers in the state for more support and synergy among them so as to achieve the scheme’s mandate in the state.
Earlier, the outgoing coordinator thanked the state government for supporting her, which she said, resulted in most of the achievements recorded during her tenure.
She described her successor as an experienced officer and called on all the stakeholders, staffers and corps members to give him the required support and cooperation. (NAN)
