The Kebbi state government has directed Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and Local Government Councils in the state to accept corps members posted to them without any reservation.
The state Deputy Gov., Alhaji Sama’ila Yombe announced this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Nura Bena on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi.
“The directive by Governor Atiku Bagudu, conveyed by the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Sama’ila Yombe, was that MDAs and LGAs should take corps members without any reservation,” he said.
Yombe explained that the present administration had put in place adequate measures to ensure a hitch-free service year for corps members posted to the state.
According to him, the state government is ever ready to support any entrepreneurship initiative capable of boosting the economy of the state and the country at large.
The deputy governor enjoined the corps members to accept their posting as an act of God and settle down quickly in their host communities.
“Kebbi State is undoubtedly the most peaceful and hospitable place to live in the country,” he added.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that over 2,350 corps members had registered at the orientation camp in the state in October. (NAN)
