GERMAN tennis player Angelique Kerber does not plan to stop playing after the 2024 Olympics.

“It’s not like the 2024 Olympics will be my final tournament,” she said on Thursday during the release of her book “Eine Frage des Willens: Mein Weg nach oben” (“A matter of will: My way to the top”).

Kerber is currently on a break as she expects her first child.

For now, she has no concrete deadline for a comeback.

“Who knows what will happen. I’m taking my time. When I come back, I want to come back properly,” the three-time Grand Slam winner said.

She recently said competing at the 2024 Olympics in Paris was her biggest goal.(dpa/NAN)
